Day 2: You're Welcome to the Underbelly

I spent the first night in Dallas (last night) eating an enormous cheeeezburger and drinking beer at a sportsbar on my boss’s tab. Duh.

Today was wild. I ate breakfast. I sat and listened to cold calls. I went downtown. I met a guy with the exact same haircut as that guy from Recess. Don’t ask me which one. I have no friggen clue. Just watch the show.

So I’m a huge lover of chain restaurants. Nice. So it was fitting that we ate at Olive Garden this evening and I thought about all of the great local restaurants there could be in Dallas, but I was not eating at. It was free, though, so I can’t complain.

Intro

My name is Corey Griggs, and I'm a traveling shoe salesman. I just graduated college with a degree in Entrepreneurship. I just accepted this job, and am extremely excited to hit the road and see what the Southeast has to offer (and what I can offer it...anyone wanna buy some shoes?).

Today will be my first day on the road. I'm told in oh-so-enticing terms that I will "see the underbelly of America". First stop, Dallas. Welcome to the underbelly. More to come...
